All LED purchases include free shipping! If you have placed LEDs in your cart but it's still asking you to pay for shipping, please contact me ASAP! Somehow eBay managed to change the listing procedures for shipping without me and I have corrected it once again, but if you are seeing a shipping cost, please let me know. I am also including the purchase of all discreet components with the same shipping package. So if you order less than 4 ounces of parts total, it should also be free shipping!
Each of these colors are pre-packed in 50x or 100x but they are also available in a custom assortment! If you want 3 red and 47 blue LEDs, just select the assorted option under color and leave a message to the seller as you check out with your needs.
Want more than one color in a pre-pack and want to save money?
First select the assortment size for the total number of LEDs you are purchasing today and then select the assorted option under color. Leave a message to the seller when you check out. "50x green, 50x red, 100x cool white"
The assortment size option is like a candy bucket size in a candy store and these LEDs are the candy. As long as you fill your bucket when you check out, it will not matter what you put in your bucket.
Current colors available for 5mm size are:
Red, Orange, Amber, Green, Blue, Pink, Purple/visible UV (395-400nm) Cool White, Warm White and Infrared (940nm)
Current colors available for 3mm size are:
Red, Orange, Amber, Green, Blue, Cool White, Warm White and Flat-head Warm White
These are perfect for hobbyists and engineering students.

You may also combine these LEDs as part of your assorted mix, just tell me when you leave a message to the seller.
Also, these items were tested before they were packaged so I will guarantee that you will receive all good LEDs. They are usually packaged by weight so I may have accidentally shipped extras. If so, please feel free to keep them for your next project. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, I will replace it or issue you a refund until you are satisfied. These items are not being shipped to you from overseas, they will be shipped from my garage in Atlanta so you will receive them in just a few days, assuming the Postal Service is still operating.
These LEDs are standalone devices and have no current-limiting device included with them. The user is expected to understand that these bulbs REQUIRE a current limiting resistor or other device to restrict the current to no more than 20 milliamps or damage will occur. Use the following equation to find your necessary resistor value:
    Where V
    in
is your Input voltage, or supply voltage. V
    f
= Forward Voltage on the LED (usually 3.0v) and
    I
    f
= Forward Current of the LED.
(usually 20mA or 0.02 Amps) For instance, if you are using an automotive application, your Voltage usually stays a constant 13.8 volts while the engine is running. With one LED you would subtract the forward voltage from your automotive voltage, so 13.8 - 3.0 = 10.8 volts. Then divide by your forward current of 20 milliamps or 0.02 amps. 10.8 / 0.02 = 540. So R = 540 you need a resistor that is at least 540 ohms. The nearest industry value to that is 560 ohms and the next highest is 620 ohms. With a 560-ohm resistor at 13.8 volts, you will provide your LED with about 19.3 mA of forward current and that will be substantial without burning it out.
If you need resistors, please check out my listing for resistor assortments below. These assortments are customized by you and can be any value between 1 ohm and 22-megohms. You can order 50 different values or 50 of the same value, mix and match as you see fit, just message me in the message to seller option with a list of resistor values that suit your project.
If you need help or have questions about this, please contact me before you buy. I am happy to help you with your project!

Thank you for visiting my listing! Because of the virus pandemic, all the Train shows, Hamfests and many other expos that I might have set up my booth at are cancelled which means I have no way to exhibit my products now except on eBay and other online services. So it really means a lot to see the views to my items. It's as though you were at the show and walked into my booth, maybe even picked up one of my items to inspect it. The only part that's missing is the friendly conversations about what project you might be working on and what you are looking for to add to it. I do miss the chance to chat, so if you have something you are looking for, or perhaps you already have it and would like to discuss the operation, please contact me here on eBay! I enjoy helping other hobbyists.
