Marantz CD6000SE/ Upgraded

Description

This is a Marantz CD6000 ... the SE edition with had selected internal parts. It sounds great from the get go but this one has been upgraded and sounds even better. I installed a solid copper IEC power connector and connecting that to the power input are solid silver wires. The chassis and crossmember support have been damped. Both the underside of the cover and the bottom of the unit have Dynamat and have been sprayed with QuietKote. The inside of the chassis has also been damped. There is damping on the transport as well. The very good Elna Silmic output caps have been bypassed with film caps to make them more dynamic. Comes with working remote. It has damping feet but will also come with the stock feet. This actually sounds better than my new Marantz CD player but the remote will not work with the new Marantz amp and that is why I am selling it.
