LGB 55090 MTS Power Booster NOS

Description

For sale is a new old stock LGB 55090 MTS Power Booster.  I bought this new a few years ago from a reputable dealer when I first considered converting from analog to digital.  I never used it, for I eventually decided to go with the Massoth DCC system.  For those unfamiliar with this, it is used to transmit digital commands from one controller to a separately powered "block" on your layout, thus giving one the ability to put up to 5 amps of power into each block in order to power long or "power hungry" trains (multiple motors, heavy grades, multiple car lights, etc.) throughout the layout.  Such an arrangement is also useful if you are using track voltage to power switches & signals (also controlled digitally), and line-side building lights, etc., in order to reduce wiring.  If and when you can find one for sale, they tend to run 0, used.  This comes from a smoke-free home.  I can, to some degree, combine items in order to save a Buyer on shipping.  Please look at my other LGB cars & items.
