Rare lot of three different original 6" x 3.5" unused ink blotters promoting a message for "America's Future",..Free from religious or racial prejudice for school age kids, all religions (Catholics, Protestants Jews), young men in the military, etc. The Boy Scouts organization is shown on one of the blotters. These blotters were part of national publicity campaign against racial and religious prejudice conducted in the late 1940s by the Institute for American Democracy (IAD). The IAD was created by the Anti-Defamation League and was one of many organizations formed during and after World War II to promote tolerance in the United States.  The IAD created and placed posters, billboards, transit ads and educational material throughout the United States on themes of social justice and equality. The IAD provided teachers with handbooks for teaching tolerance and distributed these blotters, as well as posters, bookmarks, and other materials to get their message across.
